Mystery Boy

Cheesy love poem for the boy who I like. I won't say his name =] He's a mystery boy.

This is some tough stuff,

I don't know if I'll survive. 

The words I say pierce the air,

and I don't know your answer. 

I like you,

how am I supposed to say it out loud. 

I replay it like a movie in my head,

the words hit my tongue and I freeze. 

I'm standing there feeling so stupid,

making a fool out of myself. 

You have no idea how happy you make me,

it's buried underneath everything else. 

I want you to read this and know I'm talking about you,

I guess you never do. 

I wish I could say it out loud,

write it out in this poem.

I'm too shy to even write it out. 

Dang it, why? 

I wish I knew what you were thinking,

I don't know if that'd help. 

Some people know I like you,

I'm afraid of what they'll say. 

I can't deny the fact that you make my heart flutter,

you make me feel like warm butter. 

I hope we're friends forever and one day we meet,

and you'll come and sweep me off my feet. 

We'll sit and listen to avenged sevenfold,

while we keep away from the cold. 

I'll sit here and listen to blessthefall,

while I wait for your call. 

We'll dance and listen to Mayday Parade,

while we're hiding in the shade. 

We can hug and kiss while we listen to Slipknot,

and hope that we don't get caught. 

There's nothing more that I can say,

I've run out of ideas. 

Every time i listen to your favorite song,

I'll always think of you. 

Because I like you.
