Killer of Love

I wrote this while I was listening to 'Darling' by Eyes set to Kill. I have no idea really : P

Patiently I'm waiting

suffocating

all your lies shoved down my throat

I can't escape your grasp 

you've reeled me in like a fish

there I lay, flopping and gasping

gasping for the truth

where is the truth?

As you exhale, I inhale

inhale every lie you told me

no wonder I'm asphyxiating

driven me to the point of insanity

take your time I'm only choking

go slow, no rush

let me get the word out fast

spreading like a deadly virus 

so I can expose the killer of love that you are

there are doctors of love who come and help

pull ur lies from my lips 

resuscitate me 

save me

I hope your next girl is as smart as me

and she can see 

see everything you've done

everything was so pointless to you wasn't it?

I hear your voice in my dreams

I see your face everywhere I look

I hold your picture in my hands

there it is I gaze upon it

I feel the paper between my fingers 

avoiding a paper cut as I rip

rip your memory in half

so I say goodbye to you forever

now I silence you

No more suffocating 

no more waiting

I can finally take that breath I have needed

and relax
