Syringe

Syringe

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

It's about an exboyfriend who I still seem to not be able to shake off :/

"

Throat slasher

That's what I'll call you.

Inhale all that came from the syringe

Lie to me as loudly as the door hinge

Cry for me, cry from your apartment balcony,

The tears that you so long deserve.

I'm sorry

Why am I sorry?

That's a funny word.

Inhale loudly like a door hinge,

whisper the poison from your syringe.

The tears fall like paper confetti,

as you stand outside on your apartment balcony.

Just remember one single thought,

those few moments I gave you.

I'll sit and cry, cry from the ground,

your lies hurt my ears.

Be as loud as the door hinge,

and cut me, like the syringe.

I'd hate to be you sometime later,

washed, dried, and squeezed.

Speak softly""door hinge,

and touch gently"" syringe.

He's a throat slasher,

it's what I call him.

Inhale all that came from your syringe,

lie loudly like the door hinge.

With the bag in your hand,

your lies fall like paper confetti,

as you stand outside on your apartment balcony.
