Hell On Earth

A Story by bluessadmood

i really dont know what say,it will speak for itself,i just told it the way i heard it,this really took place some three years ago

"

The sun was so weak and young and cold as it was still early dawn...
That part of town was very volatile all the time and things could take a nasty turn all suddenly...
All shops were still closed. As people were still waiting for daylight to come to go to their trades and business...
Suddenly a White pick up car pulled over down the street, the street it self you could see full of dumps and holes from so many explosion
From the pickup down came a bearded young man, a Saudi young man very nice looking no more than 20 y of age. He seems like
He is lost in time and place; it was for sure not a surrounding that he ever knew well so he kept looking around him. Then he chose
A clear area of the street where he stood still looking ahead like going into prayers, and then he knelt down for a long while, then after he finished
He kissed the grounds and mumbled a few words to himself but as if talking to someone...then he raised his eyes to the skies for a long time
He seemed so happy and even smiled and said some non understandable words...
Then he went to his friend in the car and asked if they made sure to tell the owners of the shops not to open today and not start their business
Then he asked is the assigned truck that was parked on the side was fully ready...all these preparations took some another hour as he asked also about the timing and if they were right on time...
People were filling in but as they saw what’s going on, they had some idea of what will happen so they kept looking at the three men...
Eyes gazing wild. But the young three men ushered to them to clear the area...and that they did but they hid behind some buildings, you could see
Only their eyes looking astounded and astonished as to what they will see...
And suddenly from a distance you could here a military convoy heading in from a corner still unseen,
The young Saudi put himself behind the wheel of truck and tied himself with chains to the wheel and started the engine and just stood their and waited, as the convoy became to be seen, in the middle was a large personnel carrier, it seemed this was the target...
as right away in the speed of a rocket the young man headed to it and crashed into it, making such an explosion that could be heard all over town
Fires started all over, it reached the skies...
Then the two sides engaged in a long clashes that went on for an hour,
After that both parties retreated...
Leaving the streets like a hurricane has just struck hard...
You could see no moves anywhere in sight. some many houses came to the ground o head of people that may be still asleep inside ,fires started here and there ,so many people dead scattered around the streets ,so much blood everywhere, everything was a mess..
Then you could hear ambulances carrying people for an hour and fire brigades washing the streets of so much blood spilt...
Yes the place at lat was clear apart from moans and cries from close homes...
Everything was quiet and nicely calm...well not for long anyway

Your opening line entrances me...how beautiful it is...and how well it sets the mood...so bleak...oh the rest...the rest...is a slap in the face..an awakening to some tragic doings of humanity...heart-breaking...because of the senselessness in these explosive deeds...what I admire about Your writing...is how subtlely blunt it is...how it bores into the heart and wrenches unwilling tears from the eyes, how it makes one see what You have seen, how it recreates pain...so devastatingly potent...it is beautiful....beautiful...simply beautiful

You portray the humanity of the people involved and the futility of the war so precisely. Your writing is graphic, stark, honestyou are really able to show the waste of this young 'no more than 20' year-old's life and the lives of all those he has taken. Your writings are a testament to a dark time. They gloss over nothing. Without a doubt, they are the most important writing that anyone will read on the caf and in their daily lives.

Very good job, first of all.
One thing that you might want to edit because it is a little choppy would be: The sun was so weak and young and cold as it was still early dawn... maybe, the sun was weak, young, and cold because as of yet it was eary dawn. Or because it was early dawn.
Second sentence could do without the all. Fourth sentence it and self should become itself and explosion should be plural.
It seems that at the end of a line you cut a sentence in half andcontinue it with capitalization. Good job if you fix this it will be perfect.
I love the emotions you put in this, keep it up.

You portray so much bloodshed, pain, fear, emotional trauma and the aftershock of death as it stenches the air here it is truly shocking what the americans and the british have done to your wonderful country i am ashamed of the governments for turning this once tranquil paradise in to a warzone, if you go to www.booksie.com/bufferdude i have written a poem about the war in iraq and how it has transpired what the reasons for it starting and to whom it benefits please read it, if not i will publish it along with my remaining 39 or so poems that are left to be published on this site.
Thanks for all of your comments on my stories and extra feedback i was impressed by how much you knew of this land and the people of a bygone era.ROSEN

Oh I am completely lost for words. Truly my heart bleeds for you and all you have to endure.
No human being should be subjected to this. The world has completely gone crazy.
Such evil, such destruction and tragedy. I know these must just seem like empty words to you
from someone who has not faced what you have faced, but believe me I would swap places
with you in a minute, to give you some peace in your life which you deserve so much.

Thanks again Moayad for sharing a little of your life....one day insha Allah I know we will be hearing
a different story, when peace finally comes to you and your countrymen.

Oh Blues............how this just rips my heart apart.........I cannot imagine what it must be like for you to see something as this! Such sadness, pain, destruction from the planning and purpsose of these men who were intent to destroy human life! And such intense sorrow left behind for those still living!
May God be with each day!!!!
Love, Sheila
