You Deserve To Live

to all brave Syrians,i ve never see or read in my whole life,such beautiful sacrifices like the ones you do..

ohh dear ones you are never going down..how i see you
going high up to heaven,you are so precious,never feel low
by God you told the whole world how to live while you are dying
beautiful souls ,all ages ,he never discriminate..he kills you all
old and small.yes so much justice in what he does,all the killings
all the butchering of whole families..he says a surgeon will smear all body
with your blood to amputate,the tumor so he says..a surgeon will never kill you stupid
he will rather die to see blood spilled the way you do..never give up dear ones
i know ,just the whole world is against you ,yes,east and west..still hang on
you will reach the stars one day ,i swear ,the whole world and history
one day will talk of you..how you killed a giant ,with bare hands
how i marvel what you do,i shed tears though for you still happy

You wrote on a hard topic. I have been to Syria. Kind and good people. I wish the violence would stop. Time for Syria to close down the borders and allow their people to fix their problems. A lot of great history and wise people need to be left alone by hateful and goal minded folks. I pray for peace and calm in the country of Syria. Thank you for the poem.

always watching these poor people getting killed by hundreds each day by a bully and none say a word for them,hes had them like slaves for 50 years,now they got fed up and raised their voice ,thats their crime,so they deserved to be killed by the dozens ,thats whats he is doing..a real massacre,thanks again dear

thank you dear Alex..what bothers me though,is this site ..so many great talents ,and lovely minds,and not a word is said about a bully thats killing his own people like 200 hundred victoms everyday,this is not politics or its mishap in the history of man,for the east and west is backing him for some dirty reasons ,its really so sad,i never really did shed tears ,even at the darkest moments we went through in iraq..but these miserable people are like facing a giant armed to his teeth with all the strongest weapons in the world....if we should feel anything ,we have to stand by what is right,again this is not politics ,it pure case of humanity issue

The trouble is that not everyone takes the time to contemplate issues outside of their own little world or outside immediate news. Another thing is that perhaps people hardly know what to do or how to express their feelings on the topic. Stalin killed above 6 million of his own Russian people during his reign in Soviet Union and it wasn't really talked about until afterwards. This is a repetition, an unfair and sad repetition of history, but human mentality tends to place emphasis on its own region of the world.
