Sweat upon my brow,
Day in and day out,
A constant thrusting of my shovel,
Digging away her life,
It makes her happy,
Bringing a grim smile to her face,
Men ask why I dig for her,
Why I tire myself for her demise,
I always reply somberly,
and with a frown upon my face,
"Because she asked it of me."
