It's a moving piece. My first guess was that one of the lovers is in the afterlife but it could be a separation otherwise. It has a Vanilla Twilight (a song) feel to it or maybe it's just me. I can really understand the feelings that have been expressed.

I consciously left space for a wider interpretation, but I do wrote this piece with the idea of a couple separated in flesh (with one in the afterlife) but still connected in spirit. I like how it carries hope even with its sad tone.
