Sonnet: A Bite of Pomegranate

Sonnet: A Bite of Pomegranate

A Poem by Brandee D. Hack
"

For Kaitlin Bevis

"

A love forever

time to take flight

over oceans and valley’s

ever to ignite.

Though Persephone wishes

much change to come.

That bite from hunger

has her all but done.

Hades keeps her

within the chamber so deep

sparks flying high

though Demetre shall weep.

Love at it’s finest

shall bind others with kindness.

Zainul -- I suppose my own type (not conforming to someone else's style there) and it's like a trance. It rhymes within its self and some lines when it wishes. My poem's tend to have a mind of their own. :)

Love the nice work.
What's the type and rhyming pattern of your sonnet?
