Problems

Problems

A Poem by Kesha
"

..............

"
I told my drug dealer
to have a good day,
I told him he should
enjoy the rest of the night.

After I waited in the lobby
For hours to see him.

He filled out a prescription
And told me he was healing me,
But I really believe

He was trying to kill me,
Just to make a
Quick buck.

He shook my hand,
And smiled at me,
He examined everything
That was ever wrong with me.

I wish he had only given me pills
But he gave me an addiction,
and more problems
than what I walked in with.

He told me he was healing me.

But I saw the lies dance in his eyes,
The words slipped from his lips.

With money on his mind,
He gave me more scripts;

and an ocean of problems
so violent it could kill
you and me.

He told me he was healing me.

But I saw the tremble of his hands,
I saw the regret wallow on his face
and the remorse etched on his skin.

His voice dripped with deception,
His lips curled with misrepresentation.

He told me he was healing me.

But I truly believe
He was killing me.

My drug dealer was a doctor.

Who never attempted to

...heal me~

That's one of my favorites too :) & Thank you so much! :)
'Pharmageddon' is the prospect of a world in which medicines produce more ill-health than health, and when medical progress does more harm than good! Great rant my friend ... :-)

Thank you so much for understanding this piece! Truly appreciated :)
So the drug dealer was the doctor, who was actually killing in the name of healing...it is often seen to happen usually these days...overall a great write. You wrote very well.

An engaging and dark piece Kesha!
I also felt different emotions like sadness and anger and a bit of happiness of the thought of getting healed!
Well done, keep it up!! :)
