Guided by moonlight

The wind blew gently,
Caressing her cheeks sweetly.

Her heart beat rapidly,
Unsure of herself
And the life she led.

She wandered silently,
Her feet pitter pattered softly
Through the dewy grass.

The stars up above
Whispered secrets in her ears.

The moon sang a quiet lullaby
And held her hand tightly.

Guiding her to the right path.

Assuring her that no matter what
She’ll always have someone.

No matter how messy her life became.

Because even though
We are all broken pieces.

It will always be okay,
Because life will always goes on.

You just have to get up
And run with it.

Thank you very much!
Well, I loved it!

It will always be okay,
Because life will always goes on.

I would like to point out one thing though
''Because life will always goes on.''
I think it should be,'' because life will always (go) on'' or ''because life goes on.''
It must be a typo mistake but I loved the poem!

Thank you for sharing :)!

Haha god no, I would be awful 😂 stage fright :p
I'm not a big fan of tricky font treatments, but this one is very clever & creative. It reflects the idea of how the moon brightness grows & then fades. Your message is awesome, even if you don't like it so much! *wink! wink!* I find much solace in watching Grandmother Moon!

Love the rhythming scheme of the first octave and the subsequent couplet. It's a nice poem - very pleasing to the ear.

"always goes on."
(aways go on).
