REBIRTH

REBIRTH

A Poem by Latifa

scourging atrophy have pervaded my soul
and life is eroding
I imbibe the source
 of the crystalline waters
to savor the truth
I fondle with clay
to find my beginnings
Resuscitated by sweet breaths of clemency
I cripple my way back to rebirth
but I must choose wisely
for the pearl of the renascence
is in disguise
and the wobbling bridges wont hold much longer

the wobbling bridges won't hold much longer. Love that line.

its beautiful... rebirth in itself is a question.. whether we really want it or not and what we want in it.. sufferings of this life make us weak and we find it hard to digest the reality.. beautifully written with the use of nice words.. great work Latifa..and i really liked your name too.. thanks for sharing :)

Terrific writing Latifa. Your skill level, vocabulary and ideation are remarkable. Is Algeria culture oppressive? I ask because your writing echoes a mirror on your world.
