They flow red

They flow red

A Poem by Latifa
"

looking into an old man's hands, I felt inspired

"

These rivers has a reverberant spirit.

A spirit that weaved into the famous tales

that choreographed

symmetrically, asymmetrically.

Mirroring the loops of time

only to break into linear outbursts,

only to comeback into the looping

and break it

once again.

symmetrically, asymmetrically

they choreographed.

piercing bulkly their detours through the clayish canvas,

signing their biography

with bold lines,

they shape their destiny

to shape us.

They flow heavy.

They flow red.

they flow decades.

Signing voluminously those respitory years of rythmic echoes.

I do not speak of the earthly rivers.

I speak of yours.

I speak of mine.

Those are in the shaping,

molding their solitary incarnation .

What a richly painted image flowing through your words. It amazes me how much the hands can show about a life. Hoping you'll share more of these glimpses of the world through your poetic eyes.

Sometime one sits and waits as the reverence of your words bleed into me. I know these rivers, I have navigated the currents of time. So I thank you so much for this mirror of me, of you, of all mankind.

Beautiful!

the hands and eyes tell it all,the hands show the age, while the eyes shine
as the hands tell it all..a great piece

The hands carry, mold, shape, shake, slap, touch, pray, tell, wipe, reject, destroy, build and embrace...There is a canvas of time that run through them. You have done a marvelous observation and appreciation for those hands...:)...............
