Written after the death of my fiance' 25 yeas ago

The earth is white with snow,
Covering you from my site,
It shall never thaw.

The earth is green with spring,
Yet still you aren't in my arms,
You never will be.

The earth is blue from the summer sun,
Yet your miles underground away from my arms,
You always shall be.

The earth is red and golds with autumn leaves,
And still your far from your place beside me,
And you always shall be.

To never again hold you in my arms,
or to hear your heartbeat with mine,
since your underground.

Forever covered by the grass and sun,
the winter snow and autum leaves,
forever, my love, your in my heart,
forever, your in my soul.
