"JERA"

"JERA"

A Poem by The Tao of Bri
"

I read a poem that inspired me, though it was not meant for me. I saw in it the definition of a "soul kiss"

“JERA”

Your whispered words

float in,

brush away the decay of my mind,

and breathe

in new life time after time…

My breath,

my words

taken away…I need them not

~as I inhale you.

When my mind returns

I give to you…

~a poor offering for such sweet serenity~

that you may breathe

what you mean to me…

that you may

inhale me…

Oh, How I ache for this sublime symbiosis

~this gnosis

of All

knowing.

Very beautiful .. soul kisses are the best.. they tell you much about a person and bond two together.
Love the whole poem.. the lines 'i need them not, i inhale you ',, a loving and beautiful poem ..

"Soul kiss" .... I like that.

"My breath,
my words
taken awayI need them not
~as I inhale you."

Who but soulmates would give of themselves so completely? Great piece here.

A beautiful notion, I would that you were on here when I ran a contest regarding soul mates - this would have been a winner for sure. Sweet, succinct and lovely. Thank you for sharing.

Great work!

Sorry that you are under the weather. Hopefully, you will feel better soon.

I like the lines:

"Your whispered words
float in,
brush away the decay of my mind,
and breathe
in new life time after time"

They have good imagery as well as a subtle, refined feel to them. Not too little; not too much.

Just write! (Ha! I made pun! I kill me!) :)
