Finding Your Star

I am lost within the words

beneath the many cataclysmic

worlds that twirl around

in the cosmic underground,

to where I am bound to your

serene sense of prosperity,

and as you soar far beyond

the angelic pond in the sky,

I may arise to perhaps find,

my own pleasantries aligned

with the stars shining so bright,

though I landed upon the shores

of a forgotten realm of

magical doors that I surely knew

would lead me straight to you,

and I would search far and wide,

to find myself at your side,

so that I may find your star,

and kiss it one final

good night.

Brian, This is an incredibly lovely story-poem in the end. In the beginning 1/3 of the piece there is a bit of awkward wording and throughout a few too many commas; but the second half of the piece screams LOVE so loudly and clearly that these few minor hiccups go unnoticed as the reader revels in the beauty of your words.
