parks are overrated

This is ridiculous 

isn't it?

I don't know what else to think

as you walk away

from what we have known

for years.

I've never paid attention to your back

really,

since you walking away

never seemed like a possibility.

But it's beautiful,

just like every part of you.

Love just wasn't enough for you I suppose.

And maybe that's the worst part.

That my love isn't enough,

that you have to find someone else

to keep you warm at night when your hands get cold

and find someone who knows how much sugar to 

not

put in your coffee every morning.

It breaks my heart that I will know these things

for much longer than I would like to.

But how could I forget,

when you're the only one I ever allowed in?

This is ridiculous.
