the lovely boy behind the mask

attending a party meant for fun,

stood a beautiful girl in a pretty dress,

almost as bright as the sun,

by accident a man spilled and made a mess,

she went outside and cried,

a lovely boy walked over,

another dress by his side,

it made her look lucky like a four leaf clover,

she changed and looked ever so bright,

but she wanted to know,

who that man was under the moon light,

then she realized she hadn't gaven her name though,

all she really knew,

was she had to repay that generous task,

so she joined his party crew,

he held out his hand,

she looked curious but stood up to dance,

as if there was nobody their in her so called reality land,

she danced beautifully as in a trance,

then she reached upon his face,

and thought of that mans lovely generous task,

she undid the strings and stood a daze,

for now there stands a lovely boy behind the mask.

This poem is really cute, the way the girl was crying and the boy replaced her ruined dress with a new one, I liked the way the boy was masked, quite a mysterious character I'm guessing, or was it actually a masquerade ball? ~
