Way down in the sewers...

Way down in the sewers...

A Poem by brookey_renae
"

Inspired by the leaked clip of Pennywise talking to Georgie in the new adaptation of Stephen King's "It" novel.

"
storms can be dangerous
destroys paper boats.
blew away the circus
been down there for years.
drip! drip! drip!
some people say
that everything floats.
the innocent are taken
by something that lures.
pop! pop! pop!
the smell of popcorn and hot dogs and candy and
bloody rain coats.
a lion that roars
and an act with no viewers.
rip! rip! rip!
a clown with no face
who licks its lips as it stares at your throat.
be careful; stay safe; take heed of the woer
who loves to eat children
way down in the sewers...
