Eternity

Eternity

A Poem by B.E. Gonzales
"

I wrote this for someone special to me. I love her but she doesn't love me. Seeing her everyday gives me the reason to fight in the battlefields of life. She gives me the reason to stay alive.

"

“Angel!” I would say

A shy flower on Heaven’s field

Under the warmth of May

The sunshine was her shield

Everyday, I see her

And I would wish that I could stay

In those sweet moments forever

That’s what I pray

Eternity would willingly bear

My fragile love for her

If only she would stay there

I’d give her more

But in my memory, she will stay

In my heart, she’s always there

From then unto this very day

For her, I’ll always care

I rest every hope and dream

On that girl I’ve come to love

Stupid it may seem

But she is a gift from above

Somehow it seems that everyone feels this way at one point in their life. Easy to understand and leaves you satisfied.
