Momentary

Momentary

A Poem by Brytt
"

A poem written in the spur of the moment.

"

What can I say

The world dies inside

While I just snack on cakes and pies

What is there to do

I don't want to speak

For fear of sounding out of place

This is just a moment

I'm just trying to help

But I don't know if I can make a difference

This is just a breath

In the life of a suburban girl

Who will probably never be a big shot

This is my life in a word

I will never stop dreaming

Even if it means ridicule and despair

However long we have left

I don't know what I can say to you

But if this is just a second, I have to try

"Hello..."

I like it a lot...tension is held throughout and keeps the reader spinning with the thread of thoughts :) Great piece love! xx

I love this. I really do. I think "spur of the moment" poems are the best, because they really capture what you are feeling at that moment in time; they are often more wild and raw. They are the only kind of poems I write. Well done :)
