A Poem by Thomas B. Buckman
"

A new start perhaps...

"
It takes one to know one
It takes me to know you
I made my decision
now here, I sit and chew..

Sold my soul
not to the devil
that would make sense,
the pay scale is level...

I get free meals
..a weekly paycheck
don't mind the barcodes
printed on my neck

For I am but flesh,
a little mind
and long bones

but all I ever wanted
was to groove to my own tone.
