Yoga Morning

Yoga Morning

A Poem by V

Tranquillity in this pose

When I breathe in and out

An energy travels into my space

Calmness caresses my face

Clarity is now my friend

I know that I am real

Each move I make, rewakes my blood

It tingles through my veins

This stretch gives me relief

The core is confidence

In this pose, I know who I am

I know what I can be

The calmness comes with knowing

Strength develops me

Flexibility reminds me how far I go

My temple cooperates with me.

The first word draws the reader in! The word itself signifies everything that is yoga. "Tranquility"
It is a beautiful sound, thought and feeling. Very fitting in this poem, which flows with gentle movement just as yoga does. What a beautiful job you've done with this!

I had to read this when I saw the title. I practice Kundalini yoga, and the description that you share about this practice is a masterpiece!. My favorite lines

This whole prose is inspiring and refreshing! I'm glad you were able to restore it! ~ Jude :-)

Love the play on sounds in this piece. The hard "c"s interlocking with the soft "s"s. I read this silently. And then I read it outloud. And then I read it slooooowwwly outlouuuuuuud and liked it best.

Sexy poem!

A lovely insight into yoga exercise; those, who are practitioners, will recognise the experience and those, who are not, should be tempted to try it out for themselves. The poem flows very smoothly - just like yoga itself - and gives a feeling of calmness.
