A Poem by Katherine Wyatt

, Waters, morphing, flowing round me in greens, gold, and blues

      sculpting the landscape

my perspectives and spirit dancing as water

    ease and flow…

Sunkissed, sparkling in diamond radiance

waters circling, brackish, filled with life

filled with people, floating, playing, fishing, sailing

ash at the end of life settling

deep in the waters ….  sleeping at night under moonbeams

Water washing over my feet, still chill from winter but warming

calling us to play where sand meets swells of foam at shoreline

Barnacles cling to piers and pilings

    life is a petri dish

  swelling with the tides….

sandbars surface and submerge like lovers

   rising and falling….

.Moon shimmers champagne diamonds upon an open sea..

calling sunrise to brilliance, and another day

we breathe moon and softly whisper

  …  be like water…

About
I am the song the trees whisper in the wind. I am the strength of the mighty mountains. I am the song of the birds in the morn. I am always being reborn. I am a traveler in and out of space and time... more..
