~amoebas

A Poem by Katherine Wyatt

-I danced among amoebas.......
they were once celled but people with many cells.....
believed they had some strange power.....

how we laughed together...amoebas and I....

as we danced in the cooling waters of the Strange....
     almost subtropical South......
calling your name....
       making love to mirrors.....
              calling your name....and laughing....
      at ourselves....dancing...
dancers of such a strange life.....

.Oh baby.........I left you in the fall.....
how I love to ramble and swim ....
in these waters...where winter is taunting me...
       we are.............a rainsong.......me...your poetry....and I........

most likely........... nothing much to you....
yet everything......but....not enough
     .....almost......

About
I am the song the trees whisper in the wind. I am the strength of the mighty mountains. I am the song of the birds in the morn. I am always being reborn. I am a traveler in and out of space and time... more..
