~India no More

~India no More

A Poem by Katherine Wyatt

I weep for India... once my soul's escape...
... oh India... how you suffer... how you suffer souls..
... exhale your grief and unsacred fates...
.. those lies that make me weep with tears inhaling ancient olde

.. India whose child calls me a a simple guest
.. I walked along your ghats and Himalayas briefly
...... whose songs gave me sacrality and rest

.. oh India how you make me cry
... please dear Source .. should I pass this life by

.... let me NOT return to India where the rule of law
.... .. depicts pictures of a fate
.. but offers solace and the union with the One
.... with malice
.. far too late

. may I be like moon and exhale
.... the gray that lives within; to Earth return that there
............ sun lit beneath my skin

... return to the heavens... Whole... no longer any sovereign's w***e
.... breathing soft sun within where again...
.... I will no more
.... my sacrifice to India lend
.... I am One and whole .. my homeland India no more

I am the song the trees whisper in the wind. I am the strength of the mighty mountains. I am the song of the birds in the morn. I am always being reborn. I am a traveler in and out of space and time... more..
