~ Mind CANDY $$$$$$

~ Mind CANDY $$$$$$

A Poem by J. Hampton
"

Just a few "divots" from my dome today...... aka: tibits of irrational "mind candy " or more traditionally..."THINGS THAT MAKE YA GO...HMMMmmmmmmm ??????????????????????? I'll be back to clean this up...Randomness is me

"

Just for thought……Not trying to go deep with it but …

"Bail-outs"..."Buy-outs"...????
Hold on...maybe we should've held longer tryouts !!

When poor folks can’t pay their bills … we get “collected on “
When rich Investment Bankers can’t pay theirs… they get “ Govt. Bail out “ ?
our credit scores drop ...and prices rise
we wind up on welfare eatin' government-cheese
they don't skip a paycheck ...on government-ease

 ::::: te poseen :::::

When we can’t pay our mortgages ….we are forclosed on …and change our status to “homeless”
When Banks cant pay up….they change their status to “Bank Holding Company “ ?

Sub-prime...crime ! Ballooning payments to inevitably ...nestle that deed right back into the banks lap!
Rolling and bundling trillions of dollars worth of properties that they buy up themselves
and somehow claim debt ?
Now that's a man with a master plan

When Poor folks can’t pay their car taxes…they get nifty metal booties for their car
…. Liens on their homes ….levies
….. or attatchments to their paychecks and income-tax refunds ?

:::: Ahhh....the circadian rythm of the mobius- fiduciary giants :::::

John 6:1212When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

1 Timothy 6:6 devout life does bring wealth, but it's the rich simplicity of being yourself before God. Since we entered the world penniless and will leave it penniless, if we have bread on the table and shoes on our feet, that's enough.

Proverbs 3:27-29 Never walk away from someone who deserves help;
your hand is God's hand for that person.
Don't tell your neighbor "Maybe some other time"
   or "Try me tomorrow"
when the money's right there in your pocket.
Don't figure ways of taking advantage of your neighbor
when he's sitting there trusting and unsuspecting.

Ecclesiastes 10:19bbut money answereth all things.

( It answers…..but doesn’t solve )

BLesssssssssssssssssss

I had to send this to a friend who has been so verbal about his disgust for the whole bail-out proposition ... what I don't get is the number of people I've talked to who buy it, hook line & sinker ... but if we don't bail them out we won't be able to get loans or houses or cars ... and this from people who can't get loans or houses or cars now! hello! so glad not to be the only one with a penchant for ranting .... oh how I've missed you!

snap.snap.snap... even a jingle on my keys sister! Wow.. Get it girl.

This was the bomb. This is not random at all... this is what everyone is thinking.
I am thankful of one thing.. (of many) That even though we are IN this world, we are NOT part of THIS world... Therefore this "recession" does not affect us.. For God said HE knows what we need even before we ask, and not to be anxious about anything but in prayer and petition to bring every concern to him.. IF WE ARE TITHING... we are not robbing God and therefore the devour will not touch us.. I will NOT be shaken is the message He gave us last week.. DO NOT be shaken... new things are coming in the world next year, but He is saying look to me, for I am your salvation and your provider. Not your job, not your skills, not your hustle.. but I alone will have you under the shadow of my wings...

Girl... let me get off this podium... Great write.

Be blessed,

Melba <><

oh my goodness. I've never used "mobius" in a poem. That alone blows me off the page, I love the 'rawness' of this piece - almost rap, almost chant, riveting, bold and unapolagetic. Wonderfully penned. So good to read you again.

Money...you can't eat it, you can't wear it, but you need it. I agree with all you have said here Jen though I must admit that my Aussie brain can't get around some of your Americanisms??? I got the gist and that is the main thing...love your logic :-)

Putting a stop to predatory lending would go a long way to solving this ridiculous situation too.
Nicely written, skillfully said! Thanks for sharing!

You have such grace with deep wisdom. Random, no! Definitely not. I think your words deal very well with what is on all our minds. And there isn't a doubt in my mind that these words were needed today.

Bless!
