Globalization

Globalization

A Poem by A.T.B.

150 million chinese

who have never had

milk

once in their lives

decide one day

to try it.

A guy in Zimbabwe

who has been

drinking a glass of

milk

all his life

can no longer

afford it.

You point out very well some mistakes of globalization. Each location on earth should have it's own way to live since each place is unique...although I can't deny that some of globalization is inspiring and I love to learn about new cultures. It would be a sad day and a big loss if we all followed the same rules and had the same culture. I wish our country would stop trying to make the whole world the same.

It is "Chinese". That is the plural.

This is how the world works, yes, broken down into an example that is simple to understand. Makes you think. I like to think about important stuff and I like writers who compel me to do that.

That reality has a coda. The 150 million Chinese got upset stomachs because they never developed the enzymes capable of digesting the milk.

Yow! Your really went straight for the jugular on that one. Appropriately, it feels almost Confucian. Great work!
