A Minor Distraction

A Minor Distraction

A Poem by cad

Lying alone
Naked
Curled up into a ball:
Your eyes weeping silently into your pillow;
Your lip quivering, longing to be stroked;
Your body shivering, but not because of the cold;
Your toes clenching, holding on for dear life;

A tear
Falls:
Caressing your cheek,
Stroking your neck,
Traversing your breast,
Falling,
Leaving behind a silver chain.

You uncurl,
Your hand brushes your thigh, and you lose yourself
In the thought of another world.

A moan
Escapes
Riding on your sharpened breaths,
Lingering in ecstasy.

It only lasts a second.

You remember the truth.
You curl up
Naked
Into a ball,
And I keep on holding you.
