Blankness

Blankness

A Poem by cad

Blankness,

an empty sea of white

save for one thing:

a shadow,

a spectre,

the silhouette of a thought

waiting,

just waiting.

It spreads,

blocking out all light until

there is nothing but that one entity

consuming the endless room.

The space darkens,

a sinister feeling emerges:

could this be bad?

At long last

the phantom rears its head

and turns to reveal itself -

What? There’s a sequel?

Love Never what?
