Kiss of goodbye

Kiss of goodbye

A Poem by Carissa Marie

I kiss your lips,
For the last time my love.
Knowing this is the end
Of the journey we had.
I look into your eyes
And hide my soul away.
For fear of you discovering,
My sorrows and regrets.
I never wanted for it to end this way,
But I have nothing left.
No love left to give.
For I gave and yet did not receive.
A foolish affair,
Doomed before it even started.
Doomed until it reached the end.
And so I kiss your sweet lips my love,
For this signifies my silent farewell.
Farewell to the bittersweet memories
Of the days of the past.
To the sufferings accompanied
By this traitor called love.

And I hope this kiss will reach you.
A kiss with my hidden sorrows,
A kiss with my hidden regrets,
A kiss with my hidden goodbye.

Hello Ghost,

Love can be a foolish mistake. Yet a wonderful feeling
Excellent.

Always,
