Worth of Color

Worth of Color

A Poem by Cameron Berry

fleeting glimmers
lost to battles of sun and rain
restless wrath smearing the skies with gray

palest copper
have you worth for winds of gold?
or have all shades yet been sold?

for there is a palette
of calm blues and dew-dipped greens
an artist commissioned and skillful and keen

The first two lines are simply adorable. The emergence of the rainbow and the disappearance portrayed with beauty and ease. Enjoyed reading it. And I also like how you twist your lines mysteriously in your writings.

Well done!

Thank you Apoorva. All colors for this one!
' for there is a palette ~ of calm blues and dew-dipped greens .. .. .. '

Colours are like minor battles, you win some, you lose some! Seems here you've discovered the reality of an emotional colour wheel. Beautiful and beckoning phrasing.
