Oh Barack, my Barack, your candidacy has come,
Your campaign shouldered every slight, endorsement you have won
Your goal is close, the shouts and cheers of Democrats exulting
ring loud and clear whilst in New York poor Hillary is grieving
But watch out! Out! Out!
For this fight is just begun
And many people are not glad that
to this ring you've come

Oh Barack, my Barack, rise up and hear the cries
Democracy, it needs you now, for liberty has died
For you the victory awaits, on you we are depending
For you we call to save us all from Republicans a-meddling
Oh Barack, Dear Leader
The path that you now tread
Is paved with risk and much opposed
By those with necks of red

But Barack will not falter, his words ring loud and clear
With Rev Wright left far behind, Presidential chances near
The stumbling block, one J. McCain, so old, but very white
And a nation forced to choose between, what's wrong and what is right
See sense, America, just for once,
Don't carry on this dance
Leave the pitiable past behind
and give Barack a chance

I myself don't think Barack is a puppet! It's going to take alot to undo what bush has done that I know. We all have different opinions as to this or that on Barack however we should give him a chance to show what he can do for America.

I liked the wording in this poem, you're pretty good but I hate to say this but Barack won't change a thing, I wish he would for you guys, you need someone decent but he's part of CFR, the organisation that MCCAIN belongs to. You're gonna need an outright revolution to change anything in America. Same here in the UK, we're also pretty fucked. I'm with you all the way, Carey. Republicans had all the power and they blew it, big time. Grampaw McBush and Caribou Barbie will just give us more of the disasterous mis-leadership we've seen for the last eight years. it's a very tough to make a political statement in a poem. why i think you over-generalize a few points, maybe your purpose is just to get people interested in the election. i am still undecided in this election as this is the first election i can remember when there actually is some difference between the two candidates. however, i don't think it is necessary to demonize one. both are qualified, and the winner of this election will be a champion of ideas.
