Someone Once Told Me...

Someone Once Told Me...

A Poem by Peach
"

Just a thanks to all of the amazing people in my life...

"
Someone once told me, my heart would never lead me the wrong way...
Someone once told me, that I was a good person...
Someone once told me, that they would catch me...
Someone once told me, my mother did not stop me from eating lead paint chips when I was young...
Someone once told me, that I was smart...
Someone once told me, they could run faster than I...
Someone once told me, love is knowing he goes crazy for crossword puzzles, and his favorite color is puce...
Someone once told me, not to say "yet", because it may never happen...
Someone once told me, that I was a sweet gummy drop...
Someone once told me, they'd always be there...
Someone once  told me, I was naive...
Someone once told me, they were sorry...
Someone once told me, that I shine...
Someone once told me, I'd be a cat lady...
Someone once told me, to stop crying...
Someone once told me, I was beautiful...
Someone once told me, that I made them feel important...
Someone once told me, I'd get through it..
Someone once told me, that I couldn't be Donatello...

♥ Someone once told me, that they loved me...

I feel this soo much, your writing is so relatable. Like how we've all experienced the same situations, but our stories are unique, this really made me think!

The temptation is to continue or to answer...
and that is the power of this write.

Well done,
