Knowledge is not death

Death has no hold on me
Even though as it is
We are so near death
As we hold on to life

Death has no hold on me
Life has much to give to me
I donot wish death as sad
The sad can overwhelm me

Death has no hold on me
Sickness can take a wish
A wish for the easier time
To die without cause is harder

Death has no hold on me
To live with no cause
Maybe worst than death
To exist to have no one know

Death has no hold on me
Is it existence with no knowledge
I want you to know I exist
I want you to know I lived

Death has no hold on me
Mire existence is not enough
I don’t have to be fame
If you acknowledge my existence

Death has no hold on me
Knowledge of my existence
Is my immortality
If an undying being has knowledge

Death has no hold on me
I shall live forever
In the knowledge of this being
Poetry holds my life
