I remember no world

I remember no world

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Only an empty void...

"

I remember no world

Before her shadow on my skin

Only chaos

Only an empty void

And then she came

In poetry and prose

Etched sunrise ink

Across my soul

Aroused was the scent of her sea

The shores of her rivers

Ancient, mystic waters

Carrying me to raven calls

For moments our flames ignited

Flowed fierce into one

Our fragile flaws

Melted into the pleasure of Being

Before her loving goodbye

Brought a desolation

I could not comprehend

Reminded me of the universe

In its unborn nothingness

She asked me once

If I believed in miracles

And I know I must

Waking every dawn

Clinging to the hope of seeing

The Wonderland of her smile…

I truly appreciate your kindness... yes... one person can be the sunrise of your soul...
And then she came, In poetry and prose, Etched sunrise ink, Across my soul...
Deep imagery you've dappled on the poetic-page. After reading your work, I say, "The reason of poetry belongs to her." I like the imagery of fantasy & destiny you've created through the vibes of your thought invoking words.

There's such a mix of pain and perfection in this poem, Craig. The joyful memory of what was wonderful seems almost untarnished until that 'goodbye' which could near shatter a heart, your heart. And yet.. those final lines display an undiminished and determined need to fulfil your dreams. Dream on. There's a magic and very lovely spell here.

I know what it's like to be out of it, but this is what you make of it, my dear poet. Your language is deep emotion that pours out of you like a magnificent waterfall

It's always a blessing to have you by, Jamestown! Thank you...
A beautiful piece. It just shows that after love there is no going back. Love changes everything and makes anything we had experienced before it seem meaningless.
An excellent piece of poetry. Well done!

This is beautiful. Written so well, I was surprise at the flow of some of the lines. One of the nicest I have read in some time. Valentine
