Why do I cling to mist?

These dreams of dust and ash?

Life is woven in frail fabric

Loose threads of myriad colors

Divine tapestry of a thousand scars

But in the scars are the stories

Endless remembrances

On one such threaded glimpse

Were Gwenhwyfar and Lancelot

Two flames destined to fall

Like stars cascading from the skies

Their story still etched

On the edge of ancient places

He only wished to be Gwenhwyfar’s shadow

Yet great Camelot fell

Why could not Avalon save them?

Why was Merlin’s magic so feeble?

Now weary is this wanderer

This wondering Neverlander

Waking into a world of dying fire

Into a world of aching embers

Echoes enshrined immortal

We hide our scars and put on a brave face to show the world but we're never free from these remembrances of how we did get them.

We keep pondering these lines in our daily lives too isn't it my dearest poet...why is it that life doesn't work out to be simple....why does the ones destined to be together have to suffer the separation....
The scars of souls are difficult to heal....but with constant care and love all the scars will fill.... And the soul will be filled with only tattoos of love.... no more the pain of the old scars......

I loved the authors note too obvious isn't it .....you should tell the sea what she means to you ;) maybe she will follow you into the darkness to fill it with blue ...give it a try :D
