With what wonder?

With what wonder?

A Poem by Craig Froman
"

With what wonder has the season come?

"

With what wonder has the season come?

Its treasure lies in earthen ships,

that carry dreams across the foam.

And how your memory of her now rapes

the fleshly heart that once bore scenes,

so veiled in smoky stains of tears;

it cries as on its crutches leans,

and ever fills itself with fears.

Be born anew to taste the sky

Lay waste cocoon and upwind fly...

Absolutely brilliant. Great job. Awesome picture! What a beaut! You have incredible imagery and I like how precise you are but it's still very much powerful. I liked how the ending was like a re-incarnation, or at least that's how I interpreted it as.

WONDERFUL! xoxo

stunning and shadowy... you've encapsulated a feeling of agony beautifully.
Fantastic imagery too.

This seems very tragic, it speaks of loss and darkness to me. Very vivid in the descriptions. I like this one.

Love the darkness this holds, it's so delicate and natural. =)

Beautiful imagery, some dark and not so dark, seems like the changing of life's seasons, death and rebirth. Anyway, very vivid and I love it!

This is very tragic yet there seems to be a bit of hope at the end, at least I'm seeing that at the end with Lay waste cocoon and upwind fly..I'm seeing a beautiful butterfly being born of despair. Awesome write!
