The Dust Upon My Silent Dreams

The Dust Upon My Silent Dreams

A Poem by Craig Froman
"

Zinnia-scented paper screams...

"

Oleander-whispered lullabies

Journey on the crimson skies

In azure dreams I see her face

She’s anything but commonplace

Waltzing on my paper stairs

Every night she dances there

Earth stands still as she breathes

Nutmeg whispers in the leaves

Zinnia-scented paper screams

The dust upon my silent dreams

Eland stroll around my head

Lulling me into Wonder’s bed...

Loved the waltzing on paper stairs - just enough oddity to evoke images of wonderland. :)

Provocative yet alluring! This is by far one of the best poems I've ever read! I want more of these lullabies and dreams.

Zinnia scented paper screams
The dust upon my silent dreams... I'm in awe of that line. :p

...exquisite poem. It fueled vivid and surreal thoughts as I read through it. You have a very colorful and imaginative way with words. Thank you for sharing.
