FALLING, I AM...

FALLING, I AM...

Falling, I am…

why do I feel so far from myself

woven  in bands of memory

thoughts soaring by

floating wingless

traipsing, trudging tramping

past countless things

of cabbages and kings

and breathless recollections

near perfect reflections

in mirrors with no faces

how I see such days

in shadows they call to me

from lullabies to lull me

into dreamish Neverlands

just out of reach from golden hands

why  do I feel so far from myself

falling, I am…

I find that when the poet/author is connected with their work it becomes more surreal. Great work!

whether its falling off the wagon, falling from grace, or falling in love, there always seems to be some falling going on in life and even in nature as autumn as well is the fall of the year..

like the ground that catches the leaves i guess all we can hope for is that there is always something there to catch us when that does happen..

another fantastic piece my friend, i hope you find yourself closer to, you, soon..

:)

I love this poem. I also like how we had to fall down the page to read the poem.

When I was depressed I had no words for it. I had no words at all, but you turn something bleak into something beautiful beautiful and in so surround your thoughts with longing gazes.
