I want to be for you like the sun on Winter’s
snow... melting you... transforming you into raging rivers... torrents of
Spring’s song... a wild fury of crystalline light in trembling, tumbling energy...
awakened and unleashed to wonder's land... for you are anything but commonplace... a liquid lit
desire only sleeping... when I see the world illumined in your eyes... I burn
as the fires of a thousand daybreaks... shattering the powerless fragrance of
night within... gaze at me now... let me become for you like the sun...

Wonderful! The raging rivers line is delicious, and I love "for you are anything but commonplace." Very sweet sentiments, and the set-up and delivery read smoothly and read really well. Wonderful words. :)

We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, eng.. more..
