Destiny's Love, an Irish Princess Story

Destiny's Love, an Irish Princess Story

A Story by Craig
"

Morning dew like glimmering honey still sleeps peacefully on a gentle flower in a Galway meadow, eagerly awaiting the sweet warmth of the morning sun, as it rises over the vast rolling hills of Ireland.

"
A bright and vibrant morning sun rises with anticipation over
Galway. A mirrored reflection of the morning sun skips ever so
slowly across the waves of Galway Bay like an Irish fairy with
golden wings dancing on the water.

Morning dew like glimmering honey still sleeps peacefully on a
gentle flower in a Galway meadow, eagerly awaiting the sweet warmth
of the morning sun, as it rises over the vast rolling hills of
Ireland.

A beloved Irish Princess accompanied by her valiant Prince, travel
with vigor far from the comfort of their Kingdom of love searching
for the magic that is her ancestral homeland.

Together they discover the magical spirit of Ireland. Hand in hand
they walk along the edge of Galway's glistening Bay, awe struck by
its beauty. Still hand in hand, joined together forever, by
destiny's love, they run with the hearts of children through a
flourishing green meadow.

The Prince stops abruptly as he notices gentle flowers still wet
from the Emerald Isle's morning glory. Gently he leans close to the
ground and plucks a morning flower from its moist soil. Overwhelmed
by the beauty of his Princess and the beauty of this Gaelic
Paradise, he falls to his knees. He reaches out his heart and free
hand, giving with love the Irish flower to his beloved Princess.

Her eyes sparkle with all the beauty of Ireland as she gazes at the
magnificence of this, his gift of love. The Prince stands looking
into the eyes of his destiny. A warm tear travels down his cheek,
like a tranquil stream trickling downward through these vast rolling
hills of green.

He sees a reflection of the tiny flower in the eyes of his cherished
Beloved. He proclaims "What good fortune has been bestowed upon
me, that allows me to see such an effervescent and natural beauty"?

He is humbled by Ireland. He is humbled by his beautiful Princess.
The sun now stands tall in the sky shining down on him as he slowly
steps closer to his destiny's love. He speaks with gentle song as he
whispers to his Princess. "I shall never be King in my heart, until
you are my Queen".

Softly he kisses the lips of everlasting beauty as he caresses her
face of the white softest silk. "Be my Queen" he asks with humility.
"Be my wife. Share with me everlasting love. Share with me my life".

The Princess falls into the arms of her Prince as she accepts with
overcoming joy her destiny’s proposal. Their lips meet yet again.
Passion enthralls them as they embrace tightly in the tender bliss
of destiny's kiss. Their lips are joined in destiny's kiss, like
their hearts are forever joined to each other and now forever joined
to Ireland.

Together they found the beauty and spirit of The Emerald Isle. They
were married on the highest mountain and lived happily ever after on
the Irish countryside.

' Morning dew like glimmering honey ' .... ' Their lips are joined in destiny's kiss ' ..... those are such beautiful phrases.

I see you've edited so, can honestly say this is a lovely piece of writing, more like a myth to be spoken to a still and truly appreciative group of listeners.

Thank you for sharing.. truly.

Nice job Craig, a great outlook on Ireland hanging onto the old myths and fairytales of an isle that seems to be losing its folklore, between us maybe we can keep it in the written word. I loved this, the love present was solid but you didnt go overboard on it either as you were also focusing on the hidden beauty of Ireland as you describe so wonderfully in your phrass such as
Morning dew like glimmering honey........lovely wording!

Can I make a suggestion? The last part, happily ever after, there wasnt enough in the story suggesting they found the beauty of all Ireland, its only Galway you describe, maybe you could review that bit.

Wow...Beautiful language, such vivid imagery. It is very sweet and romantic without being cheesy. I enjoyed this read. I would suggest quotations around the speaking parts to make it easier to understand, and a little proof reading. Minor stuff like a forgotten apostrophe here and there. Thank you for letting me read.
