Dark Summer

Dark Summer

A Poem by Sean J. Dezse

Dark Summer

Dark summer nights
Morning lights
4:00 a.m. on the clock
Slink up

Stairs of wood
There you were sat
Hung like an animal
Cigarette in hand

Misery on your face
Regret in your heart
If only
If only

You knew
What you meant to me
What I meant to you
My mommy

About
I love to write to help understand myself and others. For me, writing is a way to try and make sense of the illogical: life. more..
