Wow, where do I begin?

I just thought it's time I said how I feel

Time to say that Angie Diane is my friend

And I hope we can remain the same for a while

I know this doesn't rhyme cause it comes from the heart

She's such a nice girl

And she loves God too

And we share a special bond

Lol she loves tormenting me

And I enjoy it too

Nothing but smiles when I'm messaging her

Love ya, girl!

Awwh, I really like this Steven since Angie's one of my good friends on writerscafe too! It's good to meet and have good friends even it's from online. It sometimes feel like people online care more about us, with our drama and personal situations in life. Poetry isn't about rhyming, a true poet is able to write from directly the heart and not care about the rhyming scheme. Great job!! :)

It is kind of an odd poem because it is so personal sounding, so directed directly at someone in particular that the rest of the readers almost feel like they are intruding.
The last line in the first stanza sounds a little bit off in conjunction with everything else you got going on.
Good job, though, writing a poem to a friend!
