Just for now

Just for now

A Poem by Brian Custer

Just for Now

Brian Custer

Just for now

 she sees my eyes,

eyes seen so distant

Just for now

she imagines,

imagining what we did wrong

Just for now

she counts the time,

times come and gone

Just for now

 she rides the waves,

waves crashing down

Just for now

 she knows the truth,

truth; outweighing all lies

Just for now

she breathes,

breaths of calm (invigorating)

Just for now

she wishes,

wishing to see my eyes so far

Just for now

 is just; just now,

right now, always now

Interesting poem. I kind of like that it is written by you, but with the intimate feelings and thoughts of her. Way to get inside you characters head. Splendid. Thanks for entering the Missing Him, Missing Her contest.
