A subconsious state

A subconsious state

A Poem by Charity

In a subconsious state I find a light;

An escape from reality, from the darkness of night.

It plays out my heart in a cinema of dreams;

It captures the spark of desire within me.

I wake with a start, without a real reason why;

I breathe in the morning and it makes me cry.

The night brought a rest from the despair of day;

It brought back the hope that today goes astray.

Peace isn't found in a place like this;

But tonight I'll return to the relief I miss.
