Notice Me

Notice Me

A Poem by Chelsea
"

A poem about a teen girl looking for love.

"

Notice Me

She yells in her mind “Look at me”

She wears dark makeup and skimpy clothes

Thinking this will get her friends and followers

Most hoping for some certain fellows

Alas they notice her,

Little does she know only for one reason

I hope you liked this poem. The message being that don’t go finding friends and fellows like her, you know what they’re after…. Be yourself and you will find the right type of friends! Who will care for you more than one reason! Please review.

good job! Message is good here...kids want attention and act a certain way, but the attention this brings is typically negative. I agree with free expression to a point...tatoos & piercings are ok...dressing like a hoochie...not so much.

Good message. I like the specific descriptoins of the speaker, "dark makeup and skimpy clothes..."

Very sound advice. We've all been there wishing and hoping to be noticed by someone. Not a good place to be in.
