Dancing

Dancing

A Poem by Chelsea
"

My first attempt at romance.

"

Dancing

This delicious dance

None other than romance

Has me captive on the dance floor

I’m tucked in your arms

Hidden away from any harm

You stroke me gently under the moonlight

I know your mine

As we intertwine

A loving embrace

Our dance has come to an end

But in reality, it will never end

For I am yours, as you are mine

a very sweet ode - and a great first attempt at romance (really your first attempt? it works so well!) - perfect timing with that pesky cherub knocking on the door for monday!! (just change your to "you're" in second last stanza and perfect!!) - very nice as always!!

Dancing should be our best days. Music and friendship can allow the spirit to find peace for a time. I like the ending to the outstanding poem. Thank you.

This reminds of me of Twilight the movie. The last few scenes where Bella and Edward are dancing the night away at the prom. The imagery in this poem presents almost the same picture as those scenes. This is a great poem, and is alittle lighter than your normally dark poetry. This is a great example of love that can conquer all.

This was a pleasant change from the dark depths from which you normally write. I like it. It looks good on you.

After all the dark stuff I have read this evening, thank you for putting a smile on my face. This is a delightful poem. All that romance should be. It cheered me up so much :)

Cute. Last stanza needs work though- the first two lines end with "end." It just doesn't flow well.

This was a pretty good attempt, I must say. I like the way you ended it a lot and I feel its very sincere and telling. Good write.
