A year after your death. January 4th

I wouldn't call these stories, I'm not sure what I'd call them. I have a book called the writers book of days, every day it gives you a different topic. So here is the first of many short pieces.

You where my favourite critic

I miss you everyday

I wish I'd spent more times with you

Asked you more

Invested more time

Your photo smiles back, it stings like a fresh wound

You gave us your time

Your care

Your love

Every moment you were there

Every small success you were proud

I wish I told you more

I loved you more

I think you knew

I hope you knew

I appreciated you

Respected you

Admired you

I hope you're all together

I hope you get to see him again

Tell him how much I miss him

Tell them all how much I miss them

A year after your death

I still can't believe you're gone

I wish you back

I wish you all back

You've found your peace

But I still grieve for you
