Love through the storm

I know it doesn't completely rhyme but i just wanted to express the love I've lost and the love I've found again in my life.

The stars blinked out my life turned grey

Like ash on a breeze it all drifts away

Heart turned to stone

Mind an endless void

Shattered by their words I crumble and fall

With eyes wide shut I reach for my cure

The coppery tang spills all around

I feel the release conscious ebbing away

 

Pulse begins to falter the stream becomes thin

Deaths clammy breath prickles my senses

Hand outstretched ending embraced

Whispers in my ear of a path unfulfilled

You penetrate my heart like a nail in my grave

Greys turn to blue as I fall into you

You pull the light closer hold the darkness at bay

 

My vampiric prince pulls me from the storm

The tides unfaltering screams become no more

Life has new meaning you take my scars away

You’re all that I need, I’ll never want for more

I see the world anew my eyes glued to you

I'll hold you forever my prince of the night

When the dawn creeps up close tapping on my door

I'll retreat to my sanctuary my home inside you.

This is not completely finished I do intend to work more on it but it's just a rough start. I would greatly appreciate some feedback on it.

Its really good, I love the description in it.
And I like the lines..:
