I WOULD NEVER FORGET THE MEMORIES OF YOU AND ME,

AND IF I GO BACK IN MY MIND I THINK WHY DID THIS HAPPEN,

WHY DID GOD WANTED US TO BE APART,

I STILL REMEMBER US IN THE CAR AND YOU ASKED ME WHY DID I LOVE YOU,

AND I SAID YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE I HAD,

YOU WERE THE BEST FOR ME,

YOU WERE THE ONE AND ONLY PERSON WHO WAS NOT FAKE,

YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE WHO CARED,

YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE WHO UNDERSTOOD ME AND MY HEART.

BUT WHEN ONE DAY CAME WHEN YOU DIED IN AN ACCIDENT

AND A CALL CAME ON MY PHONE

AND A POLICE MAN WAS SPECKING TO ME THAT YOU WERE DEAD

AND THEN I CRIED AND CRIED BUT NOW I HAD LOST YOU

AND YOU WERE NEVER COMING BACK

BUT FOR YEARS I TRIED TO FORGET YOU

BUT I COULDN'T 

AND I STILL CRY IN THE CORNER OF THE HALL

THINKING WHY DID YOU DID YOU GO AWAY

If I can feel the emotion from reading the writing, you did a great job. I haven't felt what it means to lose someone close to me from death, but reading things like this get me thinking a lot. You did an amazing job, and if this is based on truth, I'm sorry for your loss, as I'm sorry for everyone's loss when this happens. Keep writing, you're really good at it.

I know the feeling of this poem intimately. It's been almost ten years since my best friend died, and I still choke up sometimes when I think of him. Some people take a part of you when they go.

You know sometimes you just have to move up. I for one am pretty sure that they would want you to live happily. Not cry for rest of your life. They would want you to smile. Crying won't bring them back. It hurts to just let go of anyone or anything, like family or friends. But sometimes you just have to so that you won't miss out on amazing things. You don't want to live your life with regret.
